Could I possibly make money buy buying 4 letter domains and reselling them? Like I have one right now, it's something like ryu3

Would I be able to make anything out of that?

Nope nobody will be interested in purchasing your domain ryu3 as most of the cccn domains are available at registration price.

You can make money by selling/purchasing llll domains but you have to find right domains at low price otherwise you will loose money.

They're all taken... Ive seen a few people able to snipe XXXX number domains but the max they ever sell for is 70-120$

I sold qvch.com about 4 years ago to a domain holdings company out of Seattle, whopping $1,000 bucks and i still think they over paid because it didnt bring jack in as far as ppc $$ from parking, etc.

Domain buying/selling can be funny, but try to consider it a hobby ;) All the seats at the big kids table were taken long long ago :P

Best Regards

unless you can get the ones that have chinese demand then no

I think 3 letters better :-)

There were some reports recently that the Chinese are buying up all the 4 letter domains, this might be interesting. Especially the ones with weird letters like q and z.

Ohh, Its not looks Good. www.domain.ryu3

I think nobody will interested in that.

I remember reading at the beginning of this year that all 4digit domains were already taken, and the 5's were going fast too.

The whole situation with domains is a problem for me at the moment. I have a service that fits perfectly into an untapped gap in a good niche but I can't find a decent domain to brand it with. I could go with a .whatever but unless its a clickable link then I think people are going to type service whatever.com or service.whatever.com because its what they're used to. Yes I am bitching because I don't want to pay top dollar to a domain squatter. Yes I know its part of the game, but I'd rather have pretty shitty domain.com than prettyawesomedomain.xyz etc. Maybe that's just me, and it is what it is but it grates.

Yeah the new generics really diluted domain value. You used to be able to protect against squatters by buying a few tld's but now it's impossible. Just buy a short one, even if it's GTLD, and stick with it.
