One of these happened to fall into my lap, I guess you can say. Estibot appraises it for almost $1.9K

Do these types of domains really go for that much?

I have zero experience with Flippa, is that the best way to go?

if its numbers and letters I would say they usually go for lower end of 3 figures in $. If there is something special about that domain it may make it worth more, however online auto appraisals are notoriously unreliable.

There are actually a surprising amount of 4 character letter and number combinations available out there and while they tend to garner a decent price when sold they are not to everyone's tastes so can sometimes sit around a while before selling.

4 letter domains are generally worth much more however and tend to sell quite quickly.

Thanks for the feedback.

I believe this to be one of those "special" domains, as even though it contains 2 numbers, it still kinda spells something.

I don't want to give the domain away, but an example would be something like this:

n1c3.com
g4m3.com
l1f3.com

etc..

Perhaps this will give it a little more value. I guess I will have to wait and see.

I read somewhere that godaddy does not allow transfer within a 60 day period though.

Oh there definitely are exceptions.

I hope you found yourself a little goldmine there and get a princely sum for it.

Flippa has not exactly been growing, more sellers then buyers and thats never a good thing. (And i mean WAY more)

Estibot does not mean ANYTHING, it has absolutely nothing to do with the value a domain may or may not have.

So if its just a domain mixed with letters and numbers, Generally (unless you find a noob) these dont have a value (a liquid value) in the domaining world. (That is right now)

I am not talking about potential end-users who may or may not be available for your domain, you can always try to take any name there and try to sell it if you think they might be interested in the domain. (for whatever reason)
