Anyone else grab one this morning? I got a white 16 GB for $299. I got to the AT&T store about 7:30, with 100 people already in front me. Left with my iPhone about 9:00. Not that bad of a wait, the news was there but I think it was kind of boring so they left.

AT&T was having problems with the in-store activation and the time it was taking, so they started sending people home with their iPhone still in the shrinkwrap and telling everyone to activate it through iTunes. I wasn't expecting to see many of these on eBay due to in-store activation, but it seems as if there will be a quite a few out there.

Now I'm sitting here trying to connect to iTunes to activate it and getting this error message:

"We could not complete your iTunes store request. The network connection was reset.

Make sure your network connection is active and try again."

Sure enough, they are having problems with EVERYONE trying to activate their iPhones right now and now no one can activate their iPhone.

I thought about it, they are going for about $900+ right now on eBay. I decided that I am just going to keep mine :)

I didn't think about it, but I should have had my girlfriend buy one! If I had known they weren't doing in-store activation, I could have had her buy one for me at the non-subsidized price of $499 for the 16 GB since she already has AT&T, and then I could have turned around and sold it for near $1000.

I have an 16gb non-3g iphone, I am guessing they will release a 32gb in the fall, I will pick one up then.
