hey guy, When performing a 301 redirect, is it necessary to declare the removal of the old domain's URLs on Google Search Console? my site is gambling

not strictly necessary to declare the removal of the old domain’s URLs on Google Search Console

No need, once you did complete transfer of old domains then its all domains include back links you can re-direct the URL.

If you have just a few 301-redirects then you can submit original URLs in GSC and Google will detect redirects and re-index everything accordingly.

No there's no need for that.

If you did 301 redirect, there is no need to remove your old domain URL's. It will be goes to the same new URLs.

By using change of Address tool to inform Google of your migration. In this way it will help the Indexing also faster. To be precise, it is not mandatory to declare the removal of old domain in GSC

No need to do anything. Just redirect by URL and easy and comfortable for 3012 redirect. you can find many redirects plugin

Yes, it's a good practice to declare the removal of the old domain's URLs in Google Search Console after a 301 redirect to help Google understand the change.
