301 to a new website?

I 301 all my post to a new domain name [ I added the same posts with a few edits on the new domain ] .

But now google has indexed both my new and old domain posts . Can this hurt my new domain SEO since at this very moment the posts may look as duplicated on " Google's eyes" ?

If you did the 301 correctly with a page by page 301 re-direct, this should eventually fix itself
