Okay so we all know that 301 redirects pass most of the juice so if you have domain1.com with high authority/PR and redirect it to domain2.com, domain2.com will be treated the same as the domain1.com.
Now what if domain1.com was for some reason slapped, blacklisted, penalized whatever....
If you buy a new domain and 301 from domain1 to domain2 what is the consensus regarding exactly what is passed down.
Is domain1's penalty passed down to domain2 therefore completely tainting domain2 of any rank-ability or are only the positive aspects of the 301 transferred to the new domain?
