301 Redirects benefits

I bought a expired domain with a 90+DR do follow 1.4 mil traffic backlink and 10-20 [70-80 DR] 150k traffic links on it. The website is located in the same town as I am and the niche is wedding, I am entertainment. I am curious how long it will take to know if there is any juice to pass, it is my first catch on a website with very good backlink profile no spam. I just got lucky i assume that godaddy didnt see it first or the ppl who buy everything with a link on it.

I got rid of a domain with like 100 BL from Fiverr on it and I saw a company trying to sell it for 1000$...... on a auction

you can know this instantly by analyzing the backlinks to see whether they're d0follow or nofollow.

But how long it will take for the link juice to pass AFTER you 301 redirect it, I don't know. But probably a few days / weeks at most.

If other people know for sure please clear this up for us!

It would be nice to know. I went back through what I bought and did a deeper dive. I actually returned a few. I went back and made sure the ones I kept had traffic as well and are currently still indexed.

It kind of leads me to a separate question. If you find a expired domain and the url lose it power, like it has a DR of 1-10 but it has backlinks of 75-90 DA with lot of traffic and in your niche, is it worth anything to you? I only really care about the backlink and not how well the domain name was doing.

Also if the good backlinks exist on the domain but the domain is not indexed, should I re index it?
