301 redirect

Hi all i am new here so please forgive if i am posting in wrong section.

I am an x injured soldier now a uk magician my site is doing ok but i wanted to buy extra domain names with my keywords in them and use a 301 redirect on all the new names will this help my site in the search engines?

I believe its not the right section, this is surely not whitehat...
It could be a help in some cases, but that's not a long terms method. Anyway it really depends on the domains you redirect and their backlinks

Thanks for the reply the domains will be new domains i will purchase the redirect them to my origianal all the domains i buy will have keywords in them so i am thinking this will help

Don't think so, unless the domains you buy have established websites. When you do permanent redirect, the domain which you redirect from gets vanished from search. All of those links get converted into the new urls. If the extra domains are not indexed then it is waste of time and money doing that...

Either way, I do not think it is profitable because if someone was searching for how to make a coin vanish, might not be interested in your trick to pull the rabbit out of the hat and your bounce rate might become high.

Some of the other members touched on this but I just wanted to elaborate. Buying other domains and redirecting them will not help your site rank well. The only way this strategy would work is if those domains also had content on them. In fact, Google and other search engines will not even index those other URLs so you wouldn't even get traffic from them if there was no content there.

Of course you can always buy them to protect your brand. If you want to rank for keywords, I would suggest reading some information here to get started,

There are more members then you could possibly count on this forum that have the ability to do such a thing. Theres not just some random 1-2 guys that can do it. And they definitely wouldn't do it for free.

You need to read up on pretty much every aspect to make sure your site is even ready for backlinks. Once you get there, only then, you should go to the marketplace and pay for some link packages.
