Hey guys,

I got a website that violates Google's quality guidelines

I was wondering if i make a 301 redirect to my new website..would i redirect the penalty also ?

Thanks.

Hey Op,

When you say it violates the Quality Guidelines, what specifically?
Do you plan to just buy another url and 301 redirect it to the page that's in violation?

Well..my website was in 1000+ and i submitted a reconsideration request and google told me that
Code:
Dear site owner or webmaster of http://site.com,
We received a request from a site owner to reconsider http://www.site.com/ for compliance with Google's Webmaster Guidelines.
We've reviewed your site and we believe that some or all of your pages still violate our quality guidelines.
In order to preserve the quality of our search engine, pages from http://www.iphone5new.org/ may not appear or may not rank as highly in Google's search results, or may otherwise be considered to be less trustworthy than sites which follow the quality guidelines.
If you wish to be reconsidered again, please correct or remove all pages that are outside our quality guidelines. When such changes have been made, please visit https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/reconsideration?hl=en and resubmit your site for reconsideration.
If you have additional questions about how to resolve this issue, please see our Webmaster Help Forum for support.
 Sincerely,
 Google Search Quality Team

So i made a new website
And i want to make a 301 redirect from the website with problems to the new website.

In your .htaccess,
Redirect 301 / website url

If you want to redirect from a specific page, just replace the slash with the path.

Well considering that you can 301 to any domain on the internet I think that there won't be any problems.

Still waiting for other opinions :)

I don't see how a 301 redirect would violate the terms. It is a normal practice to redirect users from old domain to the new domain after changing the domain for our website.
