Hello folks,

I have a question in my mind. If I buy a domain with nice stats and then I redirect to a new domain with the help of 301 redirects.
It will transfer the authority and stats to a new domain or not?
What do I need to do for the best result? (I don't want to use the old domain because of Google DMCA strike)

Thanks.

This is a question that has been asked to SEO experts for many years now. The answer is, it depends on what you are trying to achieve. If the domain you have bought has good backlinks to it, then there's no harm in redirecting to another domain. However, if you are just trying to get more traffic on the new domain by using backlinks from the old domain then wait until you have done some work on your new site before redirecting.

A purchase of a domain with good stats does not mean that it will automatically help in ranking your website. So if your intention is to get more traffic through this method, then focus on building links and quality content on the new site before redirecting visitors from an old one.

Put some other content on the site for some time before redirecting it.
