Hi,
How to do 301 redirects properly, I mean cpanel redirect is good or I have to do it through .htaccess file. Which method is more effective and quick. Up till now its been 4 days that I have done it through cpanel and i can't see any change in new site.

cpanel redirect is enough and give you right effect

Yes i have done through cpanel. Do you have any information about how long does it takes google to recognise 301 redirect and effect serps?
