301 redirect - wordpress question

there are some strange urls that are 404's (crawl request: now found). Would you 301 redict these to the home page...

site.com/favicon.ico
site.com/.well-known

Redirecting to your homepage isn't best practice. 301 to a custom 404 page, or a less important page like "about".

I would create the file site.com/favicon.ico

and about "site.com/.well-known" this endpoint can be for HTTPS , i think your website without https ,

You need add https for your website and also ico for it ; and also you need to move all requests from site.com to http://www.site.com,
but don't forget add the DNS name "www" and value .

the hass has valid SSL

I would rather prefer doing 410 to these urls.

Just make a favicon! That's the small image that you see in a tab, do a research what it is wtf
