One of my site got sandboxed due to aggressive backlink building. The site is 1 year old.
Am starting another site on same niche. So will 301 redirecting the sandboxed site to the new site help? Anyone having experience with that.

301 redierct to a new domain, will solve you the sandbox problem ( at least that's what happened to me). Afterall if a penalty could pass from a 301 redirect , it would be the top way to sandbox your competition :p

Yes it should solve the problem but if you can take the extra step of waiting for your site to be fully index and ranking naturally for a couple of weeks before adding the 301.

It should help, and if you have any pr, the trust should transfer over to the new domain.
