    Hi,
I have domain 1 registered and hosted on dhost (1 day old).
Domain 2 (few years old) (PR3 for 301 redirect) registered on namecheap.

Since I'm 301'ing to buffer backlinks to money site (domain 1), would it be safe to keep the two domains under the same hosting account?
Can this be picked up by the algos?

    Thanks

2 domains is no big deal. If you have several though, definitely consider multiple hosting accounts.

You can use same hosting with different IP addresses for each domain.

Will the redirect be just a simple redirect or are you planning to buff up the redirected domain with more tier 2 links to it?

I suggest you still get a different hosting account though IF you plan to spam the heck out of the redirected domain (for the purpose of pushing link juice from high PR domains).
