301 redirect question

hello,

So, I have got few MNS websites most are doing well but few of them are not converting well.
I am looking forward for a new Authority website which will focus on multiple niches. So, I was wondering if I can use the content from some of my MNS websites that are not performing well using 301 redirect?
Since these websites are not performing well so instead of renewing they domains in November I am thinking of redirecting all on one website is that possible? each of the websites has 15-20 review articles which I am thinking of reusing.
If so could you explain or point to some references how to do this using 301 or something else.

You have to own the domain to redirect it. You may save hosting costs by redirecting, but not domain registration costs because you will need to renew all anyway.

You can redirect by using .htaccess or by using code on each page that redirects. If you search Google, you'll find the methods easily enough.

Bear in mind that there could be many reasons why your sites don't rank well, and that simply redirecting all to a single site might not be the solution.

Personally, I would expand each niche out (more content on each), rather than amalgamating them all together. Google likes sites for which it is easy to tell the niche. General sites tend to be harder to rank for niche keywords.

2) Not a good idea to redirect multiple websites to one domain.
3)Niche sites can easily be ranked. You need to have a good amount of money and patience to work on a generic authority site.
