Hey guys, I have collected several expired domains with high quality backlinks from high authority websites. These domains have decent DA/PA/CF/TF/CF-TF ratio, have clean backlink profile, and have not been used as PBN in the past.

I was considering to build PBNs to rank my money site but they are quite expensive to be built and to be honest I'm on a tight budget currently. Another way to use these domains is by 301 redirecting them to my money site. I have read a lot of threads about 301 redirects but I'm still doubtful of its ranking power and worried that it might harm my money site.

So what do you guys suggest? 301 redirect or PBN? Any help is much appreciated :o

I wouldn't 301 all of them at the same time, maybe do them over time but you would likely be better served building them out as a PBN.

A PBN doesn't have to cost any money, you can do the sites yourself and use some very cheap hosting. That way you can keep everything really natural looking and "above board".

I would say that a PBN is generally preferable over simply 301ing a bunch of domains to your money site, almost certainly the safer route.
 
I would go for PBN. Google knows about 301 abuse and is trying to find a way to manage them. It's still works very well in some cases though. If you are going to 301 make sure the backlink profile fits your money site.
 
You can always do 301.
Set you PBN up and wait, observe SERP. you can "read" how good domain actually is, does it have any penalty etc. Don't get too rush.

In case u will set 301 - it will be short term result, google will decrease positions of your old sites in few months or sooner
 
301 safe solution in case you set pages from one site to another or from one page to another page inside one domain. But in case, u will set many site pages from many domains to one domain google will ban it at all.
 
My choice is also 301 redirect. It is the only code that is completely understood by search engines when indexing a site.
 
you can also try hosting them using cheap hosting reselling packages that offers different ips. this saves a lot of hosting cost.
 
You can re-purpose it for a money site as long as the name is brandable, 301 redirect if have same category to your money site or PBN to boost your money site rank.
 
I would redirect only if majority of the links are related to your niche or anchors are branded/naked.
 
You could host them on wordpress.com/blogger etc - they all support having your own domain instead of their subdomain. Also, there are a few free hosts out there although i wouldn't recommend them.
 
yeah just get some cheap hosting on different hosting companies make them into pbn's and point at your money site and now you can farm out the power to your other sites

301 redirects works like a charm if you can drip-feed them over the course of the time.

thats what happens i fyou dont. sadly, I hat to do this on one site for my ease of mind.
 
While re directing the domains make sure the expired domains that are relevant to your niche and enough content quality and i hope it wont pass more link juice to your site pages,my suggestion you can build some quality PBN links for your site that are relevant to your niche and if that the case you can reach some good SERP .
 
If links pointing to that domains are ranking, You can try 301 but safer those days is to build simple websites and link ur money site.
 
I think you will want to build PBN with these kind of HQ domain expired. Instead 301 redirect and lost time on site, you build new content or restore old content from the domain, then using contexsual link in post, it will be more quality for backlink building to your money site.
