301 Redirect or Backlink? Just registered deleted DA 40 Domain

I just picked up a deleted domain after spending two days searching (my first expired domain find).
It has a Moz DA of 40 and PA of 50. Spam score of 4 and over 30k backlinks from 950 domains.

My question is, would you 301 redirect the url to a site you want to boost in rankings, or launch a blog on the domain and just send a backlink to your money site?

I see several of the sites linking to the domain I just bought have spam scores of as high as 5 but their DA/PA are in the 50's.

Just want to get the maximum but safest juice out of this. The majority of backlinks to the domain are international as well.

If the domain was not in the same niche as your money site then I would not redirect it.

By the way, 30k links from 950 domain doesn't sound good to me.

Yeah it seems that this domain you've got is completely destroyed, check ahrefs and you'll see.

If it is related to your niche then go on with 301 or else avoid it.
In addition, the number of backlink seems to be a spammy one.
I hope you wouldn't spend a lot of funds for that.

Most likely a spammed domain or penalized by google. It is next to impossible to find such domains available for free. Remember, a domain goes through various stages before it is available for free and it is likely to be picked by someone in the process before it is available for registration.

How does the anchor text profile look like? Links? You can build it out as a pbn if it's not related.

Yeah the backlinks look really spammy. It looks like a lot have fallen off as well. The domain is pretty close to my niche but isn't it exactly. I'm just trying to boost some local business serps really. I'll just setup a blog on the domain and put an article or two on it with a link to my site and see what happens.
