301 redirect of sub-folders?

hey dudes,

i am wondering how to 301 redirect sub-folders on namecheap. i recently brought a niche relevant domain and want to 301 redirect to my money site. but if i enter domain/abc it forwards to moneysite/404

namecheap said i can not do this. but this way some backlinks of the domain will be redirected to my 404 page and the juice will not effect!?!

i have another domain at eyname and there its all good. all sub-folders redirect to moneysite.com

i know i can use a plugin like 404 to start but i think its better to have a 404 page for SEO.

any ideas?

Put this code into Htaccess. Obviously, replace "domain.com" with the domain where you want your site to be redirected.

RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://domain.com/ [R=301]
