Hey guys,

It's difficult to find a lot of niche related PBN domains so I sometimes repurpose the domain altogether. For example, the new niche is food-related but the domain name is something like KevinAndJakePlumbing.com. Would you buy a new food-related domain and redirect the old domain to it or would you leave everything as is?

The new website looks 100% legit like a real website with well-written content and good design, but the unrelated domain is a dead giveaway...

you may find my answer kinda fun.. But sometimes 301 riderect works like a charm for unrelevant niches too.. Google is stupid sometimes..

Every sites will have some pages that return 404 status code. These pages don't always have to be redirected; there are other options.
One common misconception is that it's an SEO best practice to simply 301 redirected pages that return a 404 status code to the homepage of the given domain.

Redirecting irrelevant domain is not okay, sometimes site will face some problems. Your link profile will be unnatural with irrelevant links. There are maybe some site doing good, but those irrelevant links will add only little or very less value, cant expect much from it and does not provide quality traffic.

So even though it is legit site it should be relevant to have positive impact. For long term relevancy is important.

I would not recommend redirecting the pages to the irrelevant domains because it will decrease the metric values.
