301 redirect backlink benefit!?

I have 301d my old domain to another domain of mine with a decent backlink profile. I was wondering how long it takes for the backlinks to take effect e.g register with my new domain?

Google has acknowledged it in the search results but nothing positive yet.

I did it 7 days ago...

Any thoughts would be great!

Varies based on several factors. On average, 3-10 days is what I see. The sooner, usually means you had alot of firepower..slower? Not alot of juice coming from the Original site you 301'd over..

It can take everything from 1 week to 1 months and even longer. No one knows the exact number. I have seen some of them get any effect after 6 months!

The 301 and back links from your old site should be recognised within a few days to a couple of weeks, depending on how trusted the old domain is. (I presume it has a decent page rank) but rankings of your new domain will depend on many other factors like age of domain

I had a 301 redirect pointed to my site. PR 5, non-spammy and niche related. Decided to take it down ~1 month ago and have not seen any positive/negative movement that I could attribute to it's loss. Still have it but now use it as a PBN. 301's seem a bit of a mystery to me, some seem to report success while others don't, who knows why.

Yeah its a tricky to one inregards to positive or negatve movement, i am ranking quite well with my new domain ( its not actualyy new around 1 years old) because i have been slowly building it for a while. I am thinking i might leave it a month or 2 before i remove it!

Give it another week or two. Keep in mind that a rank improvement doesn't always occur.

Mostly it will take one week only.wait for 1 or 2 days i hope with in two days your backlinks get effect....

I Think the backlinks get effected from 2 or 4 days to 1 month.but it not a exact time peroid.some times it get easily effected some times it takes time for result.

some of the backlinks are shown within an minute but some of the backlinks are Google don't show its take time.
So don't be depress just concentrate on your efforts this make good.
one day all links are shown suddenly

my 301 is still not showing, any idea why?

Robots txt on webmasters say its blocked, could this be why?

How do i change this so it isnt?
