301 Re-direct?

    If I did a 301 re-direct on a domain to my moneysite but spammed the re-directed domain everywhere, would this penalize my moneysite or no?

    I mean... Yeah if you're going to go crazy if the site you're redirecting gets penalized then you're just going to redirect the penalty

    301 redirects can be useful but you still have to build links smartly

    I know it's cliche but quantity always loses to quality

    I guess "spam" was a bad word for this :p

    Basically, what I meant was if I were to say use Yahoo answers links or if I were to put my message into a tweet or something and then re-tweet it a few hundred/thousand times, would the back-links pass?

    Yes the link juice will pass and you'll enjoy the benefit for a while.I say for " a while" because the penality happend to pass after 3-4 months in SOME cases.
