So I've done some reading about 301-redirects and I am understanding that the re-direct is still effective for passing links juice. I have 5 or 6 domains lying around that are between pr2-pr5 that I want to try to utilize the most effective way for a new site. I was originally planning on writing a contextual article and posting it in the homepage of the site with 1-2 links to my money site. Trying to find out if that would be the best way to do it or would a 301-redirect be more effective (not sure if this could potentially harm/penalize my site as well).
Also, I have a question regarding duplicate content. I have different products that I will be listing on the site and have been thinking about posting the details regarding the product (this would be copied & pasted from amazon most likely). Would this potentially put my at risk for duplicate content penalty? Is there a way around this? I've done some research and have found that the syndicate-source tag is no longer in use & the no index tag is not a viable for me.
Any suggestions/advice are greatly appreciated. Thanks.
