301 Question

Hi fellow BHW members,
I have searched but did not find the exact question I have,

I have a small site, lets call it micro site 1, it is a site targeting a specific home product, I want to 301 redirect it to a larger site with lots of products related to home and garden, lets call it site 2, when I 301, do I have to make new content on site 2? or can I copy the content from site 1 and repost it and 301 it to site 2?

Yes, you can. Just copy the pages from site 1 to site 2, create a redirect for each pair and you are good to go.
