301 plan

Had limited success with 301 in the past with mild serp increase across the board.. but i just bought an expired domain, ..301 directed it in the registrar settings and indexed it to google.

I've got a nice domain with high trust flow.. it's most powerful links are mainly url and branded.. I want to increase its relevance to my kw to google.

Gonna host it and put a nice niche relevant article on it with my keywords as the title and dotted throughout
buy some cheap links from fiverr targeting my keyword
maybe build some expired web 2.0 to it with my main keyword anchors
cheap social signals..

wait a week then 301 it in htaccess to my site.

Not a good idea. First of all, why point crappy links to a good expired domain? The reason why you use expireds is their existing backlink profile, if it's good enough, there is no need to push it with crap. If it's not good enough, don't register it. The churn & burn guys from China may do so, they want the quickest results and don't really care much for the quality of the expireds they use, but it always ends up with the domains getting burned.

Doing a 301 would mean you point the good links of the expired plus the bad ones you just created directly to your money site.

My advice: Forget about the fiver stuff, web2.0s and social signals, build a nice permanent PBN site with the expired domain on a host different from you money site. Get more good expireds

Everything sounds good except for the Fiverr links.

I would just buy web 2.0s and some high PR blog comments.

I never had a problem with 301's not working.

When you said you you've had good results with 301. in which way do you do them? host them first then redirect .. or just change the domain settings at registrar level?


When i said Fiverr links i didn't mean crappy spam .. i meant some good high authority links from edu blogs and stuff like profile links from high da sites.. (or are they garabge?) Just something to get my keyword in the backlink profile.

i made the site last night, bought some high pr blog comments as suggested and social signals..

Building expired web 2.0s seems like the only reasonable thing. With anything else, I wouldn't really bother. It will not really "juice up" the domain or increase relevance.

today is dday.. i did the 301 just now.. here are current rankings for target site
