hi bhw.i'm new here and i want to learn more seo.i already have some solid knowledge but of course there is still room for more. :)

i want to buy a expired domain with good baclinks and use it as a money site for ranking not homepage but some inner pages, each page for a different keyword.

let's imagine my domain will have most of the backlinks from expired domain on a old inner page(example. org/old).my page will be example. org/mykeyword
usually people are using link juice keeper plugin and redirect all dead links to homepage.

however i want to 301 redirect example. org/old to ==> example. org/mykeyword. in this way i will have(theoretically)lot of authority backlinks to the page i want to rank in google example. org/mykeyword. is true, the anchor will not be related but the authority links will still point to my inner page(indirectly)via 301 redirect?

what do you think anyone used this strategy?is any good.i'm missing something?

is a simple question actually.i don't know how relevant is my seo level...
but i know you are posting in all expired domains related threads so you can show your signature.

Is good but you need to built also solid relevant backlinks to your niche

Yeah this will work.

Wherever you point the 301 is where the link juice will go and that page will rank.

You should try to get a niche related domain to 301 because the anchor text will count on your new site.

But if you cant find a niche related domain its ok.

thanks for the answer asap1
and i'm thinking if for example the expired domain has 500 backlinks with let's say 80 different anchors, that mean i already have the keyword diversity and i can just build links to my inner page with 50% exact anchor(or more) and 50% branded without problems of a penalty? at least this is in theory right?:)

Yes, but don't go too crazy with the exact anchors.

301s used to move all backlinks to new domains but now it seems they somehow randomly do that
