Hi Guys,

So i found a Expired Domain in the same Niche just like my Moneysite. The Expired Domain has great contextual links from big Newssite in my Country and a clean History.

The Domain is going to cost around 1000 Euros. I never bought a domain that expensive but i know that a Expired Domain in the Same Niche with Great Links is worth every Penny.

My Question is:

The Domain is not indexed right now. Should I start a PBN with the Domain or should I 301 Redirect the Domain to my Homepage Moneysite?

And before i do the 301 Redirect should i first post some Content on the Domain and let it index and then Redirect it or should i redirect it straight?

What is the best way to go with a highly relevant and expensive Domain like this?

Looking forward to your answers.

301 is hit or miss method. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Don't put all your money on this. If you can afford, buy and test it. On the other hand buying links could suite you better.

I would rebuild that site from scratch and create unique content. More ROI for the long term

Rebuild the articles using wayback machine. Build up the top paged that has referring back links

Your best bet would be to start a site on the domain since it has good links. Expired domains are a hit or miss tbh, 301ing the domain might workout fine and maybe a complete disaster so I would advise you to start a new site with the domain so if it fails, you still have your original site to fall back on.

If the site is legit and has quality backlinks, then I suggest to build a money site on it.

First red flag - The domain is not indexed. If I am spending 1K+ on a domain, I absolutely DO want to be indexed and you want that too. Especially if you can't properly check its history. Which, from my experience, almost nobody here can.

Check the domain thoroughly and see why it's not indexed. If you're investing that much, it's better to get an indexed domain.

The Domain was redirected for a long period of time. The Auction finished yesterday I got the Domain for 400 Euros. I think it is a pretty decent price.

I will download the whole old site with waybackmachinedownloader and put the old Content on the domain. Then i will wait if and when the Domain index in Google.

@Nargil I think you are the most expirenced guy with expired domains here on bhw. What is your Opinion after the Domain indexed. Should i start a PBN on the Site or try to redirected to my Moneysite homepage after indexing?

Im the European Market so EU Google not the US one.

Greetings

If it's closely niche relevant and the domain is massive, then I am all for the 301 redirect personally.

yes 301 if its niche relevant, otherwise just rebuild the website to a relavant 1 and link it to your site
