Hey peeps,

Another lurker here.. but here I am.

You see, I'm having steady 3-400 visitors a day to my site, mainly organic as I'm ranking high for this main keyword.

I rank for keyword: "thai girls"
My site is: cant post

I'm only getting about 3 sales a week (and 1-5 optins a day), and I'm not satisfied with this at all. As my product is about "thai bar girls", I guess the offer is not close enough for what they are searching for,

However, when I'm sending promo emails to this list, it's converting great when I offer some kind of seduction/dating stuff.

My question is, should I:
a) keep tweaking my sales page until it convert how I want it to, or
b) write a review (with thai girls keyword) for some seduction program and have that instead of the the ebook that I'm currently offering, or
c) move on, and just let it be where it's at?

Would love to hear your thoughts about this.

:-)

If your the site I think you are, maybe try to optimize your site for opt in emails only for a FREE book on meeting thai girls, then hit them with emails for $$$ products. this way you reacj them over and over again

Dono about others but for me scrolling pages that sell guides are so 2008. Write a guide on your site on how to pick up thai girls on the internet and redirect them to a dating offer. Or something like this.

Thanks!!

I will set it up and give it away for free as you suggest AGman. But If I do some major changes to the site I'm afraid I will lose my ranking and lose the traffic...

Yea, you are right catardat, long sales copies are kinda "old", my site converts slightly better with vsl.

Change as little as you can, just make everything pushing an email opt in for a free product. This was you will build a list u can bank from for years

Put a free guide on thai girls on a PPD page, and have it redirect to a CPA offer on the exit/thank you page. Also put CPC or adsense ads on the site, as 300 visitors a day should translate to 6 or so clicks a day at a modest 2% CT rate.

BTW, how long did it take u to rank this site?

Best Idea imo. A guide along with some Adsense will work really well and you can get decent money off it too.

TonJon,

You are on the right track here. Have you considered doing some A/B testing? An A/B test is very simple to set up in Google Analytics. Testing can offer some intriguing insights as to how slight changes to a web page can affect conversion rates.

Here is a good resource on setting up an A/B test,

http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2010/06/24/the-ultimate-guide-to-a-b-testing/

This article talks about A/B testing with pricing,

Hope this guides you in the right direction,

Shawn

Yeah 15$ per per week is to low. You would be better giving away your book to people who subscribe.

Also i would start a dating site on the same domain, as people who are looking for "thai girls" are actually looking for a Thai dating sites, not for a guide "how to seduce thai girls" .

Zebrahat: what is PPD? This is new to me. You mean, when they are landing on the downloadpage, I'll redirect them to a cpa offer after X amount of sec?

AGman: This was my first info product, about 5 years old, so it's pretty old. I've had it as a side project all the time, and done some work on it in between.

SEOnetic: Yea, I haven't dipped my feet into adsense yet as I always had the thought that it doesn't generate enough $ to make it worthwhile, but I might try it now :)

thecontentauthoithy: Cool - yea I've tried visualweboptimizer, but not on a/b testing tough. You are right - testing needs to be done. I will follow your links. Thanks for input!

moonlightsunlight: Yea I agree, it is way to low, and has potential for way more. I just need to get on with it and figure out how I can get the most out of it.

I'm really grateful for the advices you peeps give - I was really hesitant to put it out here, but glad I did.

:-)

PPD means pay per download. Yes, it can be a delayed redirect, or a straight landing page you immediately end up on after the download.

Ok, so an update:
24 hours after I changed the site, 320 visitors, 10 confirmed optins.
Much better, but much to work with here...
