300+ H3 tags

Hi there, i would like to ask for honest advice.

I'm building round up post.

I have 1-H1 and 12 sub-headings with H2 tags (Categories)

Under each category there are 10-30 category related items with 25-50 words of description.

They have specific names, should i wrap the titles with H3 tags or it's to much?

In the end i will end up with a lot of H3 tags.

This is overkill. Just bold them.

That seem to be too much.

H3 still carry SEO weight so you might be killing your own rankings. Either over-optimizing or under.

Instead use span with custom class

Alright, what if i do 1-H1 tag, followed by 1-H2 tag, followed by 12 H3 tags ( the content is 5000 words)

Span is a dummy tag. You can style it however you want. By itself it doesn't do anything.

12 H3s should be fine.
