30 similar twitter accounts?

I was just followed by 30 different anime accounts on twitter. Like 10 from fairy tail, 10 from one piece, and 10 from dragonball z. The thing is though they appear to be all linked together. I'm assuming they are all ran by the same guy because they all have "gawd" in their username. It's weird though cause they all post pretty much the same stuff. How would it benefit somebody to have so many twitter accounts that are virtually the same and post the same stuff?

those accounts are targeting the same niche.

they follow people who are interested in the subject and post content related to it.

once those accounts get enough people, you'll see them post links to their website.
