As the title says.

Whats better spam 30 Hashtags or throw in few related to the image? (max 10?)

What is the best place to drop the hash tags in the description or the first comment? And why?

I got shadowbanned when using 30 hashtags and now I don't really use more than 10

I know its fine, i have never had issue liek the guy above getting shadow banned or someting..

The point is whats better and whats the best placemant for them?
 
I stopped using hashtags a feweek months ago, and still get a nice reach with my posts. Hashtags draw unwanted attention to your posts as well as the traffic you were originally looking for.
 
I asked 4,000 people on my instagram story if they use hashtags to find things. 30% only said they look at other hashtags and like 12% of those said they actually follow people from hashtags.
 
60 vs 30 vs 11 hashtags gave me relatively the same impressions after a week
 
So all comes down that this depends on the niche you are in, and how good your account is.

So final conclusion is that moderate use of hashtags is fine for growing accounts
 
Using 30 hashtags will not get you shadowbanned on Instagram. Instagram set this limit themselves....

That's why I stopped using hashtags, because it didn't change the amount of impressions I was getting whether I used them, or not. The value fluctuated more on the quality of the picture/video I post.
 
Don't try too hard, that used to work well more than year ago, nowadays Instagram don't like it

There's probably a lot of truth to this. Just because a hashtag has millions of uses doesn't mean that people actually search for it. My impressions from hashtags are ABYSMAL. I'm talking like 18-20k impressions and 150 of them being from tags. Sure maybe this is a shadowban or something but then A LOT of people I know are in the same boat, including some chicks who I 100% know are NOT doing anything BH.
 
I think 30 hashtags is good. Currently my photos get like 700 impressions and about 80 of those will come from hashtags or about 1/8 of them so its a good little bit of traffic. Instagram also recommends that you use 30 in every post in order to grow your profile. Don't worry about shadowbans, it only seems to happen when you post a ton of pictures in a row with the same hashtags, for me the last shadow ban only lasted a day so only a couple of my posts didn't get impressions from hashtags and you can see this if you have a business account.
