One month for 2,500$ might not seem a lot, but I think you need to give yourself goals. In this thread I will update my journal every couple of hours/days to help everyone to go from zero to hero.

The idea is to start an offline business providing web design/social media and graphics design for a good price to local businesses.

But there are some twists, I use a special affiliate 'army' to get myself more clients. I wont explain any more about this until I have some proven figures for you all.

I start with nothing to keep this journal real and helping, but I do have a good portfolio making other business owners love me, I do the web marketing for the best bar in my city (3th biggest of the country) so they know I am good.

Step 1
Get myself hosting and a domain
DONE

Step 2
A website that converts, I include a quote calculator on my website with some low pricing for a better conversion rate since most clients love to know instant what they can expect to pay!
WORKING ON

CLIENTS: 4

All the tips&tricks will be posted here once proven to work
thanks for reading and post your questions!

Good luck, I always like coming back to journals a month or two later to see the progress.

I really hope you succeed...and please keep us updated with your progress. :)

Thanks guys for the support!

Atm I am working on small flyers for my affiliates, to help me get clients

main focus on bands and tattoo artists (later more on this)

Sounds good, good luck with it all! I've done this before and I'd advise a few things. Print is a decent way of marketing, however if you have money to invest in marketing and your area is relatively populated, maybe consider Adwords. Set up some campaigns and maybe a Skype number (if you're that willing to get clients) and look at closing the clients over the phone. Usually what I do is talk to the clients over the phone and arrange a quick 10 minute consultation to go over things, and actually look into their business a little closer rather than not progressing to help the client get anywhere at all.

atm I use a different way, two more clients today!

sounds really good idea what you have set up, I am moving to a bigger city in about 10 months and I intend to have a small business similar to this when I get there and really ramp up the business when I get there. There is huge potential in this and affiliates will help.

Very interested to see how it goes and for you to give tips on what has worked for you, I was definately looking at doing a spin on the 7878 thread in terms of engaging the clients.

Look forward to your success. Sounds like your doing real well getting a few clients ... would suggest having a look at the 7878 thread and the one by tactikal about building their marketing business if you havent already there a good read.

Good luck mate. Just hope you keep us posted bcuz i'll be checking frequently. :)

good luck in your journey, that a big goal but don't give up ;)
