3 years old facebook page

Hi everyone, i'm new to the forum as well as IM.

I've been searching in the forum about building facebook page and monetize it.
I was running a retail business few years back and i have a small facebook page about 2k likes only.
Would i be able to do something about the page like change the name but still in the same niche and start building it up?

Hi Lt.Enraged! Changing the name of your Facebook page requires a help from moderators. To successfully change the name of the page, it has to be approved first. Names should not be misleading.

Thanks for your reply. So if i change the name but still related to the same niches is fine. Does anyone have experience of changing the existing page to something different? Will i loose the likes and other stuff?

You can definitely change the name of the page. Just ensure the name is not too different what you already have and you shouldn't have an issue. As the page is quite small, it would probably be accepted instantly via their automated service. However bare in mind if the page hasn't posted for over 6 months then those 2k likes you have are essentially ghost followers so they are less than likely to see any future posts you make.
