etoro is not that recommended. They don't allow you to change password. That is annoying. By chance if you forget they will remind you. Suppose you have told this to someone and want to change then you are not allowed to change.
My advice is, if you are a noob in forex, then stay out of it. You can make 3$ in one hour and loose them in just a minute. Forex trading itself is such a big risk. I made $11 profit in one day. I lost $14 the next day. Then I understood that $11 was just a lucky move made by me and everyday I cannot be lucky.
If still you are determined to go then here are some tips:
1. Invest little.
2. Follow some experienced traders and ask them where to invest. There are many people in etoro who are experts and they are happy to give you detailed explanation if you ask even a dumb question. This is what I did to come out of losses. I asked some experienced person and he told me where to invest. I did and got into profits again.
3. Stick to some currency pairs. There are many pairs to invest. But you have to stick to only a few currency pairs and get familiar with the variations of it. I would recommend to choose a maximum of three pairs of currency. Invest only in those pairs. Don't do gambling moves. Take a week to get familiar with the values and then start trading. Then you will know clearly what you are doing.
4. Set a target. Don't trade just because you have to trade. Set a profit limit and loss limit per day. Once you reach that limit stop trading for that day no matter how tempting it is.
5. Copy trading is also superb. Follow experts and copy whatever they do. They will go to profits and so you too.
These are some of the textbook tips. I got them from a person I follow. Good luck.!
