3 tier backlinks

i heard many of bhw members taking about 3 tier backlinks can any one explain me

It means to build links in layers, like a pyramid. Tier 1 links to your website, tier 2 links to tier 1, tier 3 links to tier 2. You can get spammier as you go down the tiers, tier 1 should be your best links with relevant content.

3 tier simply means 3 levels of backlinking to your money site:

Example:
Tier 1: build web 2.0 properties and backlinking your money site
Tier 2: backlinking your web 2.0 properties with articles
Tier 3: backlinking your articles commenting in High PR blogs

so should i have
tier1- article +social backlinks
tier2- profile backlinks
tier3- all other

This is my definition of 3 tier backlinks.

your money site <- Tier 1 backlinks <- Tier 2 backlinks <- Tier 3 backlinks

Tier 1 backlinks (post your most well written content on Web 2.0 sites like Wordpress.com, Zimbio, Ezine Articles, press releases) point towards your money site.

Tier 2 backlinks point to your Tier 1 backlinks (these can be Web 2.0's, article sites, bookmarks, blog comments, forum profiles - basically the same sites as used in Tier 1, with the exception that I don't care as much about the quality of the content. The point is to get your T1 backlinks indexed and some link juice.)

Tier 3 backlinks point to T2 backlinks and are the spammiest (thousands of Xrumer created forum profiles , Scrapebox blog comments, bookmarking on thousands of pligg sites...etc) Tier 3 is to get T2 links noticed. Your are hoping that G will crawl up the link chain, indexing all your links and ultimately giving all that link juice to your money site.

This is only a brief overview, many people (myself included) mix and match all of the above link methods in moderation on every tier, including the spammy links once we feel like the money site has a good link foundation and can handle junk links. It is part of link diversification.

That's up to you, but the key is that you would NEVER ever want to blast backlinks from things like scrapebox to your money site. Blast scrapebox to Tier 3 or even 2.

I don't see the harm in doing this because not all your links will get indexed at the same time from G.

This is a basic link pyramid:

Tier 3 (Xrumer / Scrapebox) ==> Tier 2 (Web 2.0, ex. Squidoo) ==> Tier 1 (Articles) ==> Money Site

If you vary the anchors, you will not get penalized.
