I run about 25 autoblogs in different niches, all using the same method and all were doing well.
During the last month I changed 3 of the sites to use CTR theme and this week those 3 were totally deindexed by Google. Other sites are still doing well.
I can only assume its the theme.
Anyone elase had this happen?

Yes, even my website is not getting listed when I check the google "cache:" now. It was on page 2 now it has slipped to page 6 and removed from the cache. CTR theme :(

hmm wow a big surprise, me and my partner are using it on multiple niche site, anyone else had this kind of change?

I just put up 3 sites with CTR theme.. I'm going to switch them to an alternative until I get clarification on this.

what are you going to use for an alternative? i've spent too much time just finding a damn theme for this MNS i'm building >< X[

Also I have now disabled ads because I am afraid of losing my adsense account too. Can someone please clarify or should I change theme and try to contact Google support?

I just switch them to a theme simply called "Adsense."

PM or Skype me and I'll upload it to share if you're interested.

I have about 25 sites running on ctr theme and no issues with any of them.

i wonder if it has to do with amount/quality of posts. about how many posts/articles? unique? rewritten? spun? thanks

Guys don't be too hasty. Loads of people use CTR theme and they are mostly used on webspam sites with adsense. Of course some people using that theme will have been slapped with the recent changes in Google.

Sometimes, simply changing your theme will make you drop in rankings while Google reexamines your site. The OP changed last month, that alone could make the sites drop regardless of the theme.

So just sit tight for a while in my opinion.

Lastly, I do believe Matt Cutts said in one of his videos that they are now looking at the actual templates on a site when they crawl it.

We need more info before taking action.

I have also more than 15 sites with CTR and some dance some do not, I don't think the theme is the problem here

I have to agree with all of you. I am going to change the themes back to what they were and ask for re-inclusion.
I really do hope it isn't CTR but I think it's too much of a coincidence although as said, it might just be the change of theme in itself.
Hopefully this thread will throw some more light on it.

I am using heatmap on other sites. Works well :)

No problem for me with CTR theme either =)
Very happy to have it and it surely increases my earnings, therefore also google's

Well I am considering a plugin known as "ad-injection" along with some normal WP theme. Anyone can vouch for the plugin? From what I read, it seemed similar to what the CTR theme does.

A couple might be only 3 articles but most are 5-20, unique, quality articles. Not rewrites. Articles are 500-1000 words.

I am seeing 2 different situations here. Sounds like some are talking about being de-indexed and others just about a drop in SERPs.. Huge difference and we should not be trying to evaluate them together.

Exactly.
As I said everyone of my AB's is structured in exactly the same way. Plugins, link building etc.
All my others use heatmap.

In totally different situation here but just as a general comment:
lost (I mean taken down completely) several google blogs and sites today, all different themes, some I hadn't touched for months.

General google sweep looks like.

All 100% unique and readable content? (non spun?)

Do any of the blogs link to eachother? Do you have any kind of network of links?
