if you really want to give the invites away as a nice move you should do it without asking for +rep and thanks.
so it is only begging for reputation and in my opinion you would rather deserve it to get -rep for it (don't worry, i don't give you) instead of +rep.
either give the accounts to the users without excepting anything back or just let it be.
