I don't know if this is shared or not. Please excuse and delete the thread if it was. Thanks

1. Remove all links from your blog post (no comments, tags, categories, etc, etc. Yes. The only click one can click are Ads.
2. Use conflict colors for ads. Use silly template with strong colors for Ads
3. Add to ads - 336 x 280 in the post and 160 x 600 on sitebar.

Its takes no more than a hour to do it and increase my CTR from 0.5 to 4.7%

Note: You need to keep some links like menu just to allow bots to crawl the site, but ensure you make them silly enough. DO NOT hide link and content!!!!

Yes. I need clarification on point 2 as well.
Generally, We tend to use similar colors matching and blending with the theme.

rather than wait for clarification, just get a site up and test drastically different color ads, shouldn't take long!

Well there is litterally thousands of color combination. Do not worry that i'm already testing.

And yes, it does take long.

I think what increased your CTR is point 1 and 3 but not 2.. master of adsense always said to use the same colour as background for ads.
