3 Days without internet - Learned something

same here, i am addicted, i cant go for a long period of time without it

Weird thing, if you don't do something about it you are fucked :D You need everything in your life to be in normal... Social life is one of them...

I ❤ internet, but i can live without it :D

I earn money on the internet to enjoy my life (hobbies, music, friends, helping my family with cash, investing etc.)
You just need to find yourself! :D

yeah, most of the guys these days have this problem :p they don't go out, just stay in front of their computers all day long (including me :p).

Computer or smart phone, two major problem. I see people play phone everywhere, everytime and every circumstance.

How funny. It is good to shut down and reorient at times. I've been so busy with work and deadlines that I am guilty of the same, particularly last week during the holiday. I isolated myself and missed much good food and companionship. Just wish I could clone myself, so that I do not need to be attached to the Web so much.

Thanks for the reset. Sometimes it takes something like a natural disaster (no Internet:-) to get you on the right track. We're having an ice storm this week, so I don't mind being isolated and working; up until the power goes. Crossing my fingers that there are no power outages this time:-( I might have to take naps or read a book, which wouldn't be so bad.

Appreciate Your Sentiments...

IMO anyone who can't last a few days to a few weeks without an Internet connection has a serious problem.

Sure I use it every day but when I'm on holiday I can go on without it for as long as the holiday lasts. :)

I dont go out anymore after I do internet marketing. I dont have much friends anymore after working at home for 3 years. I am slowly losing my friends. I think I need to find another in a corporate world and do IMing still on the side.

Well always depends on what you are using the internet for - if your IM projects finally have some results it is hard to leave the PC since you are motivated to work even more - that's fore sure. But I wouldn't miss Facebook or other meme websites etc. you just watch when you are bored or have a free minute. Only thing annoying would be losing the easiness of researching information's like opening hours, routes or other important information about some topics from the everyday life.

Interesting attempt on passing on this whole Internet stuff on Sundays I actually like it - kudos

I've been without the internet/power for over a week during a storm. It nearly drove me insane, not the internet part but the fact that I couldn't communicate with anyone.

Yeah makes you somehow feel like you are living on the moon :D - Internet comes in super handy to organize meets with your friends and people

Those who are in online business cannot think of their life without internet so it is not possible to leave for a single day but it is possible to reserve some hours everyday for other activities such as meeting relatives, friends, or going outside with your family members or dear ones.

So, I,m not the only one. Relief !!
I don't like any kind of addiction, but wasn't aware I was addicted to internet for a long time, until this happened. ( Thanx to internet provider, lol)

The first time I got online was when my techy friend went with me when I bought my first laptop.
I stayed online online for 18 hours straight that first time stopping briefly for the bathroom and food. I was amazed at how it was a lesser,
yet familiar, version of what I did in my imagination anyway.

A couple of weeks later I knew I had cultivated an addiction and told my Buddy who warned me against it. I told him no. I wanted the addiction and embraced it!!

In retrospect, the internet is a poor, extremely poor substitute for reality. Especially family and nature. My goal is to become so comfortable
I pay others to get on it for me and embrace all things natural. :)

My internet went down the other day and I sat there looking at my phone and every couple of minutes moved the mouse on my computer to get rid of the screen saver an see if the internet was back. I sat there for about half an hour just looking at it and then eventually had to go out just as it came back on.

There was a stage when I was on the internet 12-14 hours a day Internet marketing..LOL

5 hours internet marketing a week and the rest of the time I was Surfing forums and watching youtube.
BUT I told people that I was making money online LOL yeh making $40 per month for the first 2 years LOL

I think we need to get off the internet and go outside... So loosing out internet Connection every now and then is
a good thing..
