3 Days without internet - Learned something

I am completely dependent on internet for earning money, work even on Sunday & almost no social life. Now, my internet connection was cut off for 3 days and I learned
- Internet kept me away from real friends - Called some friends after a long time.
- Kept away from relatives - Visited some of them.
I actually felt like i was drug addicted and the drug was internet. 3rd day was really a bad to be without internet.
So I've decided, from now I will not use internet on Sunday (may be not more than 1 hour).

Anybody, who can't live without internet ?

I agree with you totally man. I am currently traveling the world, writing from a hotel room in Mexico. When I left my home country, Sweden, I browsed Internet minimum 5 hour every day. The first few days here, and the first week is really tough. Even tho I experienced a lot of new nature and cultures, I felt empty inside. Internet is for sure like an addiction, but we Internet Marketers need it, it's where we make our living. Just always be in the present now, and remember that this is only for money, and the money is ment to be spent in real life. Because it's real life that the human always have lived in, and so shall we.
 
Yeah, but for me, it was more joy to talk with friends and meet relatives than some money spending could give.
 
& talking about Sweden, I'm quite impressed by the 3 guys behind Piratebay. Watched entire documentary without break.
 
Haha we got a few of those guys. I was on the 10 years piratebay festival last summer ;)

But if im not wrong those 3 guys has left & Piratebay is run by a political party now.
 
I will say the internet has affected my social life especially with the parents and girlfriend.
 
I also agree with you Mate,
I cannot even live with out internet,
I am totally addicted to it.
But i will meet my friends every day atleast once.
This makes me feel good and relief!!
 
I was addicted to the Internet for some time. Then I had a lousy week, I passed my exams, but barely, so my dad took my laptop for 10 days from me. The beginning was hard so I distracted myself with working out ..... and studying.
 
The internet has truly the hole globe in a way since the social stuff online made to an addiction!! yet even on mobile etc...even some of my friends rather typing as talking lol.

although 3 days man - what I would do if that happens to me: it starts with a 'K and it ends with an 'ill :cool:
 
I have been on vacations without Internet access for a week at a time and it was a little weird at first but I got use to it. You can survive without the Internet but why would you want to?
