I have servers at EU, not far from Sweden but link from there is really bad, even the fastest website loads slow from sweden :)

if you are out of time, get it done by outsourcing. But it is really fun to do this. I spent 2-3 days improving my site's loading time. I could learn lots of thing.

Also check your site with google from below link and try to do the recommendations.

(if you are paying someone, you can easily move in to better hosting and buy WP rocket with that money. If you are already on a good hosting, just buy WP rocket. It will do the trick for most of the web sites.)

I put stockholm because its a .co.uk domain.

Here are the results for San Jose.

Now its gone to 6.61 seconds.

This is a big load of slow shite haha

I'm using namecheap hosting with a UK server.

I'll look into this WP rocket.
 
- Try implementing Cloudflare. It will help speed up your site a lot.

- Optimize the images: Make sure you compress them so they will load a lot faster.

- Install A caching Plugin.
 
Please post the result from google speed rank (without URL) I am pretty sure it is:
- no caching activ
- Images not compressed
- slow server response

But to be sure it would help a lot to see results from google speed rank

Please ignore most of these tips you get here.
Your site will not be penalized for 4 seconds to load, you may lose a few users and that's all.
And I'm sure your site loads faster than 4 seconds.
This is a site statistics that earns huge money, the site is downloaded to the user for 2 seconds, and there are various scripts that are loaded asynchronously and do not affect the user experience.
