hello,i submit my blog to a directory and when i check in ahrefs for backlinks ,it show me i have 2k backlinks from this domain.Will hurt my ranking?
2k baclinkis from same domain,rank?

No it wont hurt. I had over 200.000 links from the same domain at one point and nothing happend...

if the domain has very low authority, directory is filled with low quality urls + isn't really related to your niche, if you have very few blinks - yes, it might

Depending on your backlink site. What about that site quality. Check Domain age, DA/PA, SPAM Score and use SEO Profiler for checking the link quality. If you see backlinks site is SAFE, You should gain more and more ranking point or if you see wrong in there, maybe hummingbird is getting ready for you.

Yes, I agree with this point... Try to get Unique IP, Unique domain back links and with the Good SEO matrices. You won't build you 2K backlinks for your single site I think. even for any good authority blogs 1K- 1.5K high authority links are really enough. And that time you would able to earn 15K$ I think. Focus on Content of your money site

Yes, its possible, mostly directories and blogs give you 100s of backlinks just from 1 domains.

As I said, I got a sitewide link from a directory website and at one point I had over 200.000 links from that domain. Understand?

Aha, sitewide links. Now got the point. I DID TOO AND GET PENALIZE MY BLOG . I would never going with these site wide links from my any single money site ever not for the tier 1 or tier 2. But I may think about them for my Tier 3..

Yes, But I don't think we can use them directly for our money site or tier 1 or even tier 2... Are you still using them for your money site ?

Well, it's not really something you can control. If a website decides to link to you with a sitewide link, there's nothing you can do about it and google won't give you a penalty for it either.

Thank you guys! As #onlineonly said , i can`t control i only submited.I saw a little decrease in my keyword rank and this put me on alert.I should remove these backlinks?
