Let me share about 2Checkout Payment method experience. I am living a country, which fucking country is not supporting PayPal. For that reason I used 2CO for converting PayPal money. Ah!I am a real bitch ! When I try to withdraw money, 2CO asked my PayPal account! Lol ! Even I used 2co "No Refund" Policy. Now tell me, what kind of bitch i am !

That's my fucking story. Now let me tell you, how 2co will fuck you in future, If you will use this fucking method..

  • If your currency is not US$, their currency conversion fee is a lot higher than PayPal and local banks.
  • They will shutdown your account anytime without notice and keep the setup fee.
  • Useless and boring support team.
  • The minimum payout is 300$ from international bank.
  • 40 cents + 3.9% on every transaction
  • You cannot withdraw anytime you want.
Let me calculate the charge after withdrawing money:[ One of my client experiences, Not mine]
Payment converted in USD: 1150.65/- (Payment is less, as very high conversion rate is applied, which 2CheckOut says this includes hedge charges, third party fees, etc. which was never communicated nor disclosed, they write 5.5% + 45c only, it was expected to receive approx $1234 USD based on FX conversion INR 61.15 / USD, but charged INR 65/USD)

  • Reserve Held: 57.54 USD
  • 2CO Fees: 63.74 USD
  • Adjust: 15.00 USD (At the time of wire transfer, this money was deducted)
  • Final Payment: 1014.37 USD
Total Charged: 17.79 % vs of 5.5% + 45c

Do you really think, people like me will survive our business paying through 2Checkout?

When contacted customer care: All vague replies and never got the answer.

PS: Those who are outside US and want to transact with 2Checkout, think twice before dealing with fraudsters !

When I see 2co checkout on any site as payment method i don't hesitate to enter my card details i think that's a big advantage of 2co which convert more sales.
Are you from nepal?

I know, people think its SAFE. That's why I never feel bad for charging for my amount. But I feel bad when they asked my PayPal account with Credit card for completing bank wizard.

Nope. I am not from Nepal.

All payment processors have their pros and cons. People hate paypal but love it at the same time.

As a buyer I had trouble with them freezing a payment I made once. PayPal all the way for SEO payments.

They support payoneer, withdraw on payoneer
I added payoneer and they said
Hello Tafser,

It is mandatory to enter a credit card or PayPal account on file in order to finalize the banking wizard and setup your payment profile. This is in case a chargeback or PayPal dispute happens and the funds are refunded to the buyer which can put you available balance in a negative amount. If no new sales deposit to cover the negative amount before the next payment cycle, our system will then charge you payment method on file (credit card or PayPal) to cover the difference an put you account back into a positive balance. The only way to resolve this, is for you to enter a credit card on file. Please feel free to reopen this ticket for further assistance.

So no way to withdraw money without PayPal or credit card. They can process to transfer money to Payoneer after adding credit card or PayPal .

Paypal is not cheap but it works and it allows most people to trade. 2CO and others either want stupid up front fees, have terrible service (that's you Skrill) or refuse any business that is not pure retail because of the risk.

The only good thing about 2CO is the Credit Card payment gateway, but apart from that, their service is horrible. Had a talk with their support multiple times and that's the reason we decided never to use 2CO.

2CO are good to make you join with an unbelievable support that makes you think you have a dedicated and fast operator. Once, you signed up and start paying atrocious fees, the help becomes anemic and so slow, (not that we are asking for thousands of questions but we had one once that took nearly a week to get an answer for)
