2Checkout or Stripe for Shopify?

I was wondering which is the best payment gateway for Shopify. Which one do you guys use or recommend?

Use payment processors, which can accept PayPal, otherwise you'll leave money on the table. So out of those two that would be 2Co. With them you can accept credit card payments too. Offering Stripe exclusively closes out people, who have only a PayPal account and no credit card to pay.

Stripe and PayPal Express Checkout is a combo you can think about as well.

This is from a shopify employee: "In our experience, we've found that offering Express Checkout on top of a direct credit card processor (eg/ Stripe) to be the best approach of maximize sales across different consumer types preferring to use either their credit cards or a login/password to pay."

You should know more about your target audience though. There are some countries or regions where there are payment processors more popular than PayPal. But generally, if you don't offer PayPal as a payment solution, it's bad for your purse.

I use only Stripe, Paypal can give you some trouble in the end by limiting your account.
