I will start working on this method, I can see the potential in it. Hopefully by the time my hosting is active the price for CLP V2.0 will still be $87. Anyways another Twist for this could be creating a twitter account and tweet about new movies every week:

"We just released etc and etc"

Thankfully Content Lock Pro V2 can blank the referrer (and fake it!) without a problem meaning CPA companies won't get suspicious. Many people blank completely white hat traffic as a standard practice so they will not get suspicious of traffic with no referrer.

Are you absolutely sure about that? I've read from BHW that they will get suspicious of blanked traffic.

Thanks for this method. Have started a few days ago. Changed the website a few times. Earned my first buck yesterday. Feels pretty good. I still have problems activating the content locker on the download button. Haven't found the topic on the CLP forums. Do you happen to have the link?
 
This method is great. I did something very similar a little over a year ago where I used CPA lead to lock the content on my sites. You can use basically any type of site, I was lazy and used blogspot and still ended up generating a decent number of conversions from the people I brought to the site. I made about $100 with this method, pretty good considering all i did to promote my site was answer a few questions on yahoo ans and post a few links on relevant fb pages.

The thing is about these sites is that they're so common nowadays that many visitors are starting to just leave the site as soon as they see the content lock. But as always there are a lot of non-internet savvy people out there, so just drive loads of traffic to the site.
 
Can we implement this in a wordpress or wix site? Just asking because I dont know how to edit using html =/
 
Hey balexander..just curious how did you put the locker on the play now button on your site? I can only get it to lock the page. I'm good on everything else besides that.

Very nice method by the way, one of the few that made this noob actually want to 'take action'. :o

is it safe to say with all of the dmca copyright stuff going on to go offshore with this just so there will be no setbacks

I fake referrer but still end up getting banned from Neverblue and Copeac.

Lost 1.5K from Neverblue and $905 from copeac

Yep, I do this for some of my white hat sites and mix in black hat traffic with it. The CPA network will not be able to tell which is coming from which and will just be satisfied with the fact that you are sending quality leads from the white hat site.

Yep, I'm sure you could make it work with Wordpress or Wix, or even Blogger!

It should be safe because you are not actually hosting any copyrighted material (unless some of the pictures you use are copyrighted) BUT it's probably worth going offshore just in case.

Are you absolutely 100% sure you blanked all of your traffic? CPA networks would not ban you just for providing low quality leads - they would just shave your earnings.

For future reference, it may be worth double/triple blanking (ie. passing it through a blanker 2 or 3 times) to prevent leaks.

I got into graboid without website. I guess thats nor the problem. But it did took them 14 days or so to accept me.
 
Haven't made anything so far, but I have a pretty good site up with the content lock and everything. Only problem I see so far is the traffic. Usually the results I get from Google Alerts is torrent or warez sites. Sure posting a comment on the pages is easy traffic it would seem, but no so far. It's like why would the person visiting the warez or torrent site want to download the movie from my site, when they can just download it from the site I commented on. Oh well.. must keep trying. :p

I think it really depends on what you're promoting. I've seen that much of the earlier 2011 releases have been put in a download/warez topic with also some discussions here and there. I always skip them. Most of the current series and new movies are being talked about in topics like "what's your opinion?"/"What do you think about it"?

I started with a whole bunch of comments and made nothing. Then tried again with more focus and made 1.25$ and yesterday made 5$ so that's definitely something. I'm now analyzing and tweaking my comments. I also have a feeling that movies work better then series? Haven't tried yet but most of the series you can watch either on tv or official websites. Movies is something people have to pay for.
