25k USD profit PER MONTH!!!

Hermanos! todo bien?

I own a digital marketing agency and I managed to close a deal with a client with a weird business model that generates literally 25k USD profit per month.

They use what they call a short number and they have their call center, I used to advertise their number and they would calls daily, around 2000 calls, what they do is answering client's queries and they get paid 3 dollars per minute. I tried to find a provider that could give me a setup for a similar short number to do it myself, however, I could not find a similar service in the same market.

I found that there are similar services called premium rate numbers, but they pay you cents on the minute which makes a huge difference.

Now, I would like to open a discussion about this or if someone knows about this kind of services/providers in difference markets?

The queries that they were answering are 100% legit, no adult, psychic or gambling topics.

If someone pays, $3 per minute for receiving calls, by now all lovers would have been millionaires and there would have been no dearth of unemployment.

They probably hire employees from countries like philippines

Start with those low paying networks. You will gradually learn about premium networks.

Each country have own max stakes for premium numbers. In European Countries or USA it's no way to get $3/minute on highly regulated market.
Even adult premium numbers have lower stakes now. It's also shady business, demands good cover, LTD company, lawyers

youre right. i was just going to ask what country was OP working in. or how recent that story is.

depending on the service i've seen something similar online recently.

one of those lawyer or accounting or technical support websites.
you make an account and call this 1-800 number or whatever
punch in your acct number and it connects you to a live agent on the other side to give you phone support

something like this you could hypothetically have bill any amount you want.
but it's more intricate than simple "dial and go".
end user has to create a profile on a website, enter billing info, agree to terms, and the biz has to have the technical infrastructure to plug it all together.
voip system will see user #123 called for 45 minutes. it calculates flat rate per minute. then debit it from that customer balance. if time goes over the customer balance, call will have to terminate. ton of technicals here not even worth talking about. with right programmer and voip system you could do it.

i've seen other guys do far more simpler approach. have a item in their store for "30 minute phone consult". just buy and checkout and done. again this is likely not what you are looking for if youre wanting to promote a number on a billboard and get inbound calls to pay for simple dialing. unless that process involves call center employee telling the user to buy phone credits on your store.

This is a pretty common service, at least here. They are a call center for rent. Many businesses here don't need to hire a full-time representative, so they hire this type of service to answer their incoming calls.

yeah, also those call center workers manage more than one company's customers at once. really though work imo

What kind of products do their promote via phone?
There are many call centers selling shitty products... is that smth different?

They usually just take messages, but it's intense.
