Well getting a lot of thanks on a forum (or even a lot of rep) doesn't make me any money, but it's still nice to know that some of what I have to say helps or is appreciated a little.

The 2500 thanks are nice, but what's even more surprising to me is that those thanks are in 900 threads out of just over 1600. That's a better than a 1 in 2 ratio for thanks to threads. Like I said... not too bad for someone that wasn't even sure about making his first posts. lol

No, I've been doing some amount of marketing online for many years. (Before the internet became available I used BBSes.)

So, I wasn't a newbie to marketing, but I was a newbie to talking about it. There's a lot of smart people on this forum, so I didn't really think I had much to add. :cool2:

nice bro, you've had to give alot of advise for all those thanks, people that get that many thanks, should get a lifetime membership, cause they obviously contributed to the site

Well ExecVIP pretty much is a lifetime membership, so that part actually has been taken care of. Of course that's not something that's automatically given to just anyone for making a lot of posts and getting a lot of thanks. But thanks for the show of appreciation. irate: lol

Just in the month since I made the first post in this thread, I've made another 100 posts, received another 200 thanks, and my reputation has also increased.

This should be an example for all those people that think they need to make stupid generic posts in threads just to reach the 15 posts needed to use the PM system.

It really isn't that hard to make a decent post that adds at least a little value to a thread. Just check out the current threads on the home page, read a few and make a decent reply.

So anyway...
Thanks again to everyone that's shown some appreciation and helps make BHW the great forum that it is. irate:

Thanks Autumn, you have a lot of good posts yourself.

Sometimes I can be a bit verbose, but that's because I do try to be clear when I explain anything.

I've also got over 600 reps now, so I guess overall my explanations, comments and suggestions are appreciated. lol. Thanks a lot everyone for that as well.
