I don't really post tutorials anymore because I don't know what people want beyond the basics which have been iterated on already but I've seen this asked before and I didn't have an answer then. I made and point to ask today - if you're wondering what the spend requirement is on FB to get a dedicated rep (and those fancy Meta dinners on Zuck's tab :D ), it's currently $250,000 per year and it's evaluated every 6 months.

This may change in Q3 though as they're shuffling all the reps around and doing a big restructure.

A rep can be helpful for pulling creative ideas and stats from competitors, getting verification, bypassing BS, getting fixes expedited, etc.

There are different tiers of reps and even reps don't understand why other Facebook employees reach out, as Meta is a conglomerate and confusing. If their email ends with @business.fb.com then it's just some sort of sales rep and doesn't do much beyond getting you to spend more money. Run $5k in ads then turn your ads off and one of those will reach out if they haven't already. They're pretty slimy and salesy. Traditional reps will email you from @fb.com, will have standing Zoom meetings with you, are super personable, etc. They manage about 30-40 accounts with a handful of them being household names, which makes the value they bring to the table pretty decent.

You should definitely make a tutorial how to setup $250k ad spend business while being in Europe and having to deal with people who take 4 week vacations and drop all responsibilites. Some of these people can work a $1k job and not complain, although they'll slack of all day long and drink coffee inbetween. I have less distractions in a year sitting at home than I experienced in one EU office throughout 3 months.

(I clicked your signature and read some line about people in US being committed to their work.) I think you just made me realize why I can't stand work in EU and always feel like I'm on my way while working with English speaking countries. Off-topic but TBH it's mind-blowing insight.

Yeah, I don't have any ties to Europe. From what I can see it's a very "anti-work" culture and you can see that in their lack of innovation. I could never live there permanently due to that.

I can only speak to doing business in Canada and the US.

We spend about 1 mill USD year in USA, but still unable to be provided a dedicated rep. Anyone can help point me in the right direction?

How long have you been spending that? Like I said, it's not evaluated each month but you need to be sustainably spending that.

The more books I read (and then reflect on the facts) the more I realise this is true.
Americans are continuosly tweaking things and combined with risk taking result in innovation.

I spent over 450k from multiple accounts and didn't got invited to any dinner at Meta labs yet. maybe because they have no idea who run those accounts actually
