I've recently just purchased 24vc VPN service and soon after they took me through the ringer. They said I needed to provide photo id an credit card pictures (last 4 of the card) before they can process my order. Does a VPN service really need all of this? Has anyone else had this type of screening?

Tell me first, why you use VPN?

Is that even a question considering this website; This subthread.. Need serious answers. I've heard so much praise about 24vc, Need to know wassup.

Maybe they are suspicious about your order and been some verification. If you are planning to do something illegal using that VPN, then it would be better not to buy it - Because if you do provide them the verification info they want, then it can be traced back to you easily.

To put it into perspective...

I used my bank US CC to complete an order on their site. My address is CA. They asked a couple questions. Asked if I could show them the card (last 4 digits only) and that's it. Great experience. And customer service is great too.

Thanks!

Yeah can confirm, Just go my email back with comformation. Just seemed a little odd at first.

24VC is not the only website offering fresh IPs for stealth purposes. There are a few others out there that may be less hassle.

Yeah many vpn companies have pretty strict verification processes because they get a lot of scammers trying to order vpns using stolen credit cards etc, so not surprised they asked you a couple questions before approving your order

Been using 24vc for a couple years now, and couldn't be happier, amazing service & great customer support!

24vc is to high for their fresh dedicated plans but all of that information they are requesting is insane even if you were doing something you shouldn't be they would not be at fault just look at HMA been around for a very long time and still going strong!

HMA is a horrible choice for ebay/paypal stealth accounts, their ips are shared & can get your accounts limited. Their service is good for users who need a VPN for torrenting, but not for this. I haven't had any issues with 24vc so far and they never asked me any verification questions when I ordered so I guess it depends on if your information checks out or not

I heard it first time that VPN service is asking for all these documents its seems that they are just wasting the time of their customer. Anyways you should have to cancel order and purchase from any high reputation brand like PureVPN, PIA, Express VPN, HMA, Nord VPN etc.. but before purchase don't forget to check reviews online (you can check here https://www.torrentsvpn.com/) I am using PureVPN to browse anonymously and to download torrents securely. I am paying (9.99/month) to PureVPN and Its working best for me in every part of my work. Check out https://www.usavpn.com/purevpn-review/ here.

I use 24v and it's good and yes they do require that. It's to protect the company should you guys sell major fakes online or the law is looking for you they got all your stuff to hand it over. :) Been with them 8+ months. And one of my friends for like 3 or 4 years already.

Yes they ask for so many docs but look at the quality of their IPs. They offer virgin IPs while many of us buy those $1 dedicated proxies from other sellers and think they are fresh ones but they aren't.
