hey all just a quick update. 24 hours has passed, but i thought i'd keep updating this journey thread a little about my efforts at getting this campaign to generate some money.
2 days ago I adjusted my keywords to add some new ones and also modified the Ad copy.
Have had some clicks but no sales, but with only 4 clicks I guess that's to be expected.
I might increase the cpc to try to improve my average position, as the avg position is improving - but still not 1 or 2
Nice to be getting some impressions and clicks i think aside from increasing the cpc, the best thing i can do is try to find some more relevant keywords to try to increase the daily number of impressions, but trick is going to be making sure they are relevant i think.

Great work OP. I agree with some of the other posters that acting on impulse isn't always the best way to succeed BUT this is a great exercise in actually getting stuck in rather than just constantly planning / deliberating and doing everything but taking action.
Dont stop after 24 hours though, roll it over into a new 48 hour challenge, with a new goal.

hey guys just a quick update here. The last few days have been quite hectic (in a nice way but hectic). I didn't check on the advert figures for a good few days. The latest advert stats are like so: -
So I've had 3.8k impressions, 1.23% clicks and and avg cpc of 0.28 pence.
I deliberately set the max cpc to .50 which was less than the recommended in some instances, but it seems to be going ok, avg position is 4th but people are still clicking. I haven't had any sales yet though so have decided to pause the advert for the time being.
Going forward my plan is to invest some time in creating some quality analytics.
I want to know of the people that click the advert, how long are they staying on the page for, for average, and how many are clicking the buy it button (if any).
I'm pleased with the clicks and impressions, and have only spent about 13.20 so far on clicks so hardly broke the bank.
