21 day hold workdarounds?

Hi,

As we know the 21 day holds are annoying for the simple cash flow problem it causes, does anyone know of any work arounds such as using a foreign (greek for example) paypal account, the greek paypal does not mention 21 day holds in its english TOS and someone said 6 months back on here having a different country paypal to ebay (UK ebay + greek paypal for example) does indeed bypass the hold, does anyone know if it works?

why do people even get 21 day holds? I make new accounts all the time and have never had. maybe you need to be more careful in your set up?

This is interesting, you could hold the secret to avoid them, what country are you from/ebay country are you using? Maybe your countries version of ebay/paypal doesn't have 21 day holds.

The guy that's not getting 21 day holds, probably does not sell on ebay. That's one way to not get a payment hold.

I would just refund the money right when I got it then sent them an invoice and email saying I gave them a dollar or two off for whatever reason. People loved it and I got the money right away. If your profit margin isn't very much this won't work but I was selling $50+ items so it wasn't bad.

One eBay representative I spoke to said...

If you put a tracking number with your sold item it will reduce the hold to 3 days
I have not yet verified this but will soon

Yes, thats stated on the paypal site and does work.

This is a very good idea, it might also be good to get them to send the money to a different paypal account (more safe) so if the ebay account goes down and the accociated paypal goes down too, the money will be safe.

I actively sell on ebay. And on new accounts. I can make you a new account and you will not have a 21 day hold. Just add tracking and you can pull the money. You all must be doing something wrong. I make a new account and sell within 3 days. and "high risk" items at that. you just need to space it out.

Oh and that was supposed to be response to Ineedmoney. because many you need more skills making your accounts.

no. i have created brand new accounts without 21 day holds, however the problem is that the 21 day hold comes on after 2 or 3 sales tracking provided. Why don't you just share the secret.

Hello.

I would be delighted to take you up on the offer if its open to me, I beleive you when you say you don't get holds, its just that most people do, you are probally doing something thats causing the hold to be bypassed without knowing it.

All you have to do is send your item with a tracking number and enter the tracking number, there's still a hold but I think its 5 days or less.
